Nurses and midwives provide the majority of primary healthcare services in the East, Central, and Southern Africa (ECSA) region, making them critical to improving patient outcomes. Despite their central role, limited research skills often hinder their ability to generate and apply evidence in practice.

This course, implemented by the East, Central, and Southern Africa Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery with support from the Intuitive Foundation, aims to strengthen research capacity among frontline healthcare workers. It equips nurses and midwives with essential research methodology skills to support evidence-based practice and enhance the quality of care.
